Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan diantaranya yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data penelitian terdiri dari 9 orang, adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penyusunan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil dari dilaksanakannya kurikulum pelatihan berbasis kompetensi di LP3I Banten telah berjalan cukup baik. Namun perlu adanya hak otonom bagi LP3I Banten sebagai pihak cabang untuk bisa menyusun rancangan pembelajarannya sendiri, agar semua dapat terukur sesuai kebutuhan wilayah daerah.
