This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research results show that UMC has contributed to increasing students' civic awareness of the importance of democratic values, such as tolerance, cooperation, freedom of expression, respect for others, and awareness of differences. Through UMC's regular programs, such as book reviews, public discussions, and advocacy actions, it has become an effective means of shaping students' understanding of democracy. In addition, UMC has also taken several steps to strengthen the democratic values among students, such as through the activities of the Grand Assembly (MUBES), Special Meetings (RAIS), free forums, and other meeting activities in accordance with UMC's Articles of Association and Bylaws. The research also identifies several supporting factors, namely member commitment and the sustainability of organizational programs, as well as obstacles such as low student interest in literacy activities and limited organizational resources. This research is expected to serve as a reference for higher education institutions in supporting the strengthening of democratic values through the active role of external organizations.
