note: Industri manufaktur, khususnya sub sektor industri dasar dan bahan kimia, memberikan kontribusi besar dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional. Pada triwulan II tahun 2021, sub sektor ini mencatatkan pertumbuhan yang tinggi, sejalan dengan pertumbuhan hampir semua sub sektor dalam industri manufaktur lainnya. Meskipun demikian, terjadi fluktuasi yang signifikan dalam nilai perusahaan dalam sub sektor industri dasar dan bahan kimia. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan yang masuk ke dalam perusahaan sub sektor Industri Dasar dan Bahan Kimia yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2015-2021 yang berjumlah 83 perusahaan. Sampel dalam penelitian sebanyak 18 perusahaan sub sektor industri dasar dan bahan kimia yang terdaftar di BEI periode tahun 2015-2021 sehingga diperoleh data sebanyak 126 data. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur modal berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Profitabilitas berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai Perusahaan. Struktur modal tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen, Kebijakan dividen tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap nilai Perusahaan. Profitabilitas dapat memediasi pengaruh struktur modal terhadap nilai perusahaan.  Sedangkan Kebijakan dividen tidak dapat memediasi pengaruh struktur modal terhadap nilai perusahaan.
abstract: The manufacturing industry, especially the basic industry and chemical sub-sectors, makes a major contribution to national economic growth. In the second quarter of 2021, this sub-sector recorded high growth, in line with the growth of almost all sub-sectors in other manufacturing industries. However, there were significant fluctuations in company values in the basic industry and chemicals sub-sectors. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The population in this study were all companies included in the Basic Industry and Chemicals sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2021 period, totaling 83 companies. The sample in the study was 18 basic industry and chemicals sub-sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2015-2021 period, resulting in 126 data. The results capital structure has a negative and significant effect on firm value. Profitability has a significant positive effect on firm value. Capital structure does not affect dividend policy, Dividend policy does not affect firm value. Profitability able to mediate the effect of capital structure on firm value. While dividend policy unable to mediate the effect of capital structure on firm value.
