description: This study aims to determine the development process, feasibility, and student responses to the big   book word exploration learning media. This study uses a research and development (R&D) research   method using the ADDIE model which has five stages including analysis, design, development,   implementation and evaluation. The results of this research and development are big book word   exploration learning media that can be used for early reading learning. This research was conducted   at Cilaku Elementary School with 31 first grade students as research subjects. Data collection   techniques and procedures in this study used interviews, observations, documentation, tests,   questionnaires, and expert validation tests. The results of the media expert validation got an average   score of 87.6%. The results of the material expert validation got an average score of 84.9%. And the   results of the language expert validation got an average score of 89%. Based on the validation results,   the expert team got an accumulated value of 87.16% with a very feasible category. The results of the   student response questionnaire got an average score of 97.8% and the results of the early reading   ability test got a score of 91.86%. Thus, it can be concluded that the big book word exploration   learning media is very suitable and very good for use in early reading learning in class I of elementary   school.
