The purpose of this research is to find out what communication patterns can overcome juvenile delinquency. This research uses a qualitative approach. The research data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. The validity check technique in this research is source triangulation and member cheking. This research uses social exchange theory, which was put forward by George Casper Homans. The results of this study indicate that the forms of juvenile delinquency in Ciherang Village are smoking, speaking harshly, skipping school, riding motorbikes recklessly, fighting, playing online games without remembering time and fighting parents while. The family communication patterns used to overcome juvenile delinquency are the type of consensual families communication patterns, because consensual families communication patterns allow children to explore their ideas but remain under parental supervision.
