In learning grammar, students find it difficult to understand and remember grammar rules and have low motivation to learn grammar. The purpose of this study was to ascertain whether Quizizz can improve seventh-grade students’ grammar achievement and students’ perceptions of using Quizizz at SMP Negeri 13 Kota Serang. Quzizz was chosen because it looks engaging, and there are many options for question forms. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental and involved two classes, an experimental and a control class from the seventh grade at SMP Negeri 13 Kota Serang, for the samples. The data were collected using pre-tests, post-tests, and closed-ended questionnaires as instruments. Data were analyzed using SPSS 25. The results showed that the sig (2-tailed) was less than 0.05 (0.004 < 0.05), which implemented the independent sample t-test model. Then, the results for students’ perception and motivation showed 3.31, and for the technical issues showed 3.23.
