description: Interactivity is an interaction in communication in which the user is involved  in controlling the ongoing interaction. Serang Gawe FM Radio utilises Instagram  social media in supporting the increase of interactivity with its listeners, and  expanding the radio network in communication with its listeners. This research uses  qualitative research with a case study research method with the use of MCMillan's  theory of interactivity in this research. In this study, it was found that the use of  Instagram provided an increase in the expansion of the Gawe FM radio network  and increased interactivity with listeners with new experiences in interacting. The  form of interaction between broadcasters and listeners takes place in two directions  which dominantly occurs in real-time broadcasts such as greetings, questions and  answers, and discussions. Listeners also interact with content uploaded by Serang  Gawe FM radio by leaving likes and comments. Interactive features help increase  listener interaction. The use of Instagram gives a feeling of listener involvement  with Serang Gawe FM radio. The success of interactivity from listener responses  to interactions that occur is in reactive and responsive which is influenced by the  high interaction that occurs or not.
