Jenis penelitian ini adalah mix methode dengan sequential explanatory design. Teknik penelitian menggunakan proportional random sampling diperoleh sampel 104 mahasiswa dan teknik purposive sampling dengan 5 narasumber. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Analisis data kuantitatif dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis data kualitatif dengan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) mayoritas responden, yaitu 79 dari 104 (76%), berada dalam kategori sedang dalam hal pemahaman kognitif mengenai profesi guru, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden memahami peran dan tanggung jawab guru vokasi dengan baik; (2) sebagian besar responden, yaitu 70 dari 104 (67%), berada dalam kategori sedang dalam hal perasaan emosional terhadap profesi guru, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa responden merasa bahwa profesi guru adalah profesi yang mulia dan responden memiliki keyakinan bahwa dapat berkontribusi secara positif melalui profesi ini; (3) dalam hal tindakan atau konasi, mayoritas responden, yaitu 72 dari 104 (69%), berada dalam kategori sedang, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa responden memiliki komitmen yang cukup tinggi untuk mengikuti pelatihan tambahan serta magang guna meningkatkan keterampilan. abstract: This study aims to determine: (1) the interest of Mechanical Engineering Vocational Education students at FKIP UNTIRTA in the vocational teaching profession based on the cognitive aspect (recognition); (2) the interest of Mechanical Engineering Vocational Education students at FKIP UNTIRTA in the vocational teaching profession based on the emotional aspect (feeling); (3) the interest of Mechanical Engineering Vocational Education students at FKIP UNTIRTA in the vocational teaching profession based on the conative aspect (will).
