TI  - ANALISIS MINAT MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN VOKASIONAL TEKNIK MESIN FKIP UNTIRTA TERHADAP PROFESI GURU

N1  - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) minat mahasiswa Pendidikan Vokasional Teknik Mesin FKIP UNTIRTA terhadap profesi guru berdasarkan aspek kognisi (mengenal); (2) minat mahasiswa Pendidikan Vokasional Teknik Mesin FKIP UNTIRTA terhadap profesi guru berdasarkan aspek emosi (perasaan); (3) minat mahasiswa Pendidikan Vokasional Teknik Mesin FKIP UNTIRTA terhadap profesi guru berdasarkan aspek konasi (kehendak). Jenis penelitian ini adalah mix methode dengan sequential explanatory design. Teknik penelitian menggunakan proportional random sampling diperoleh sampel 104 mahasiswa dan teknik purposive sampling dengan 5 narasumber. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Analisis data kuantitatif dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis data kualitatif dengan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) mayoritas responden, yaitu 79 dari 104 (76%), berada dalam kategori sedang dalam hal pemahaman kognitif mengenai profesi guru, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden memahami peran dan tanggung jawab guru vokasi dengan baik; (2) sebagian besar responden, yaitu 70 dari 104 (67%), berada dalam kategori sedang dalam hal perasaan emosional terhadap profesi guru, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa responden merasa bahwa profesi guru adalah profesi yang mulia dan responden memiliki keyakinan bahwa dapat berkontribusi secara positif melalui profesi ini; (3) dalam hal tindakan atau konasi, mayoritas responden, yaitu 72 dari 104 (69%), berada dalam kategori sedang, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa responden memiliki komitmen yang cukup tinggi untuk mengikuti pelatihan tambahan serta magang guna meningkatkan keterampilan.

N2  - This study aims to determine: (1) the interest of Mechanical Engineering Vocational Education students at FKIP UNTIRTA in the vocational teaching profession based on the cognitive aspect (recognition); (2) the interest of Mechanical Engineering Vocational Education students at FKIP UNTIRTA in the vocational teaching profession based on the emotional aspect (feeling); (3) the interest of Mechanical Engineering Vocational Education students at FKIP UNTIRTA in the vocational teaching profession based on the conative aspect (will). This research employs a mixed-method approach with a sequential explanatory design. The research technique uses proportional random sampling, resulting in a sample of 104 students, and purposive sampling with five informants. Data collection techniques include questionnaires and interviews. Quantitative data analysis in this study uses descriptive statistical analysis, while qualitative data analysis applies source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the majority of respondents, 79 out of 104 (76%), fall into the medium category in terms of cognitive understanding of the vocational teaching profession, demonstrating that most respondents have a good understanding of the roles and responsibilities of vocational teachers; (2) most respondents, 70 out of 104 (67%), fall into the medium category in terms of emotional perception of the vocational teaching profession, indicating that respondents view teaching as a noble profession and believe they can contribute positively through this career; (3) in terms of conative aspects or actions, the majority of respondents, 72 out of 104 (69%), fall into the medium category, showing that respondents have a fairly high commitment to participating in additional training and internships to enhance their skills.
