This research employs a mixed-method approach with a sequential explanatory design. The research technique uses proportional random sampling, resulting in a sample of 104 students, and purposive sampling with five informants. Data collection techniques include questionnaires and interviews. Quantitative data analysis in this study uses descriptive statistical analysis, while qualitative data analysis applies source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the majority of respondents, 79 out of 104 (76%), fall into the medium category in terms of cognitive understanding of the vocational teaching profession, demonstrating that most respondents have a good understanding of the roles and responsibilities of vocational teachers; (2) most respondents, 70 out of 104 (67%), fall into the medium category in terms of emotional perception of the vocational teaching profession, indicating that respondents view teaching as a noble profession and believe they can contribute positively through this career; (3) in terms of conative aspects or actions, the majority of respondents, 72 out of 104 (69%), fall into the medium category, showing that respondents have a fairly high commitment to participating in additional training and internships to enhance their skills.
