The background of this research   stems from the increasing use of social media among teenagers, which has the potential to   have both positive and negative impacts on their learning motivation. TikTok offers a space   for students to express their creativity in understanding material through visual and   interactive content. However, poorly managed social media use can be an obstacle in   increasing learning motivation. In this study, a quantitative approach with purposive   sampling method was used. The sample studied consisted of 25 Yaspita Serpong Junior High   School students, the selection of respondents was based on predetermined criteria. Data   collection was carried out through the distribution of Likert scale-based questionnaires, then   analyzed using the simple linear regression method. Data processing was carried out using   IBM SPSS version 22 software to ensure accurate and valid results. The results showed that   students' activities in using TikTok also had a significant influence on learning motivation.   This study suggests that the utilization of social media should be more focused on activities   that support the learning process in order to improve student motivation and learning   outcomes.
