note: Program Pelatihan Barista adalah program pemerintah yang memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi masyarakat agar dapat memiliki karakter kemandirian berwirausaha. Kajian penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Bagaimana peran instruktur pada pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan Barista di SKB Kota Serang (2) Bagaimana kompetensi peserta setelah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan Barista di SKB Kota Serang (3) Bagaimana manfaat yang dirasakan oleh peserta pelatihan Barista di SKB Kota Serang dengan adanya peran instruktur dalam mendukung kemandirian berwirausaha. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini yaitu 1 Kepala Lembaga SKB Kota Serang, 2 instruktur pelatihan Barista, dan 4 peserta pelatihan Barista. Hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa (1) Peran Instruktur menjadi faktor utama dalam keberhasilan pada kegiatan pembelajaran terkait Barista, yang memiliki peran sebagai informator, motivator, fasilitator, dan evaluator. (2) Peserta pelatihan memiliki kompetensi yang diperoleh pada kegiatan pelatihan dengan melalui kegiatan magang dan pembelajaran dikelas. (3) Peserta pelatihan dapat menjalankan usaha dengan mandiri dengan memiliki kompetensi yaitu, percaya diri, berorientasi pada hasil,
abstract: The Barista Training Program is a government program that aims to improve the competence of the community so that they can have the character of entrepreneurial independence. This research study aims to determine (1) How is the role of instructors in the implementation of Barista training activities at SKB Serang City (2) How are the competences of participants after participating in Barista training activities at SKB Serang City (3) What are the benefits felt by Barista training participants at SKB Serang City with the role of instructors in supporting entrepreneurial independence. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach and uses data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants for this study were 1 Head of the SKB Serang City Institution, 2 Barista training instructors, and 4 Barista training participants. The results of the research that has been conducted show that (1) The role of the instructor is the main factor in the success of learning activities related to Barista, which has a role as an informant, motivator, facilitator, and evaluator. (2) Training participants have competencies obtained in training activities through internships and classroom learning. (3) Training participants can run a business independently by having competencies, namely, self-confidence, results-oriented,
