note: Toleransi merupakan salah satu isu yang sangat sensitif di kalangan masyarakat pada
saat ini. Jiwa toleransi antar umat beragama dan budaya semakin menurun
menyebabkan timbul segolongan masyarakat yang menganggap bahwa agama dan
budayanya lebih baik dari pada yang lain. Dalam penelitian ini, bertujuan untuk melihat
bagaimana pesan toleransi yang disampaikan komika dalam Stand Up Comedy. Teori
yang digunakan yaitu Teori Isi Media (media content) dan faktor yang mempengaruhi
yang membentuknya cenderung menempatkan isi media sebagai titik berangkat.
Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah paradigma konstruksivisme,
dimana melihat kebenaran suatu realitas sosial sebagai hasil konstruksi sosial dan
kebenaran suatu realitas sosial bersifat relatif. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan
metode pendekatan kualitatif, dalam penelitian kualitatif ini pengumpulan data akan
dilakukan pada kondisi yang alamiah. Metode yang digunakan dalam metode ini yaitu
metode kualitatif dengan studi analisi isi pesan kualitatif pada tayangan media sosial
Tiktok @pinggir_jurang_official. Akun Tiktok tersebut memperlihatkan berbagai
macam toleransi umat beragama. Jenis Penelitian ini menggunanakn jenis penelitian
deskriptif, penelitian deskriptif merupakan penelitian dengan metode untuk
menggambarkan suatu hasil penelitian, dan memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan
deskripsi, penjelasan dan validasi mengenai fenomena tayangan Stand Up Comedy
pada media sosial Tikok sebagai pesan toleransi umat beragama.
abstract: Tolerance is a very sensitive issue among society today. The spirit of tolerance between
religions and cultures is decreasing, causing a group of people to emerge who think
that their religion and culture are better than others. In this research, the author wants
to see how the message of tolerance is conveyed by comics in Stand Up Comedy. The
theory used by researchers, namely media content theory and the influencing factors
that shape it, tends to place media content as the starting point. The paradigm used in
this research is the constructivism paradigm, which sees the truth of a social reality as
the result of social construction and the truth of a social reality is relative. This research
approach uses a qualitative approach, in this qualitative research data collection will
be carried out in natural conditions. The method used in this method is a qualitative
method with a qualitative content analysis study of messages on social media
broadcasts Tiktok @pinggir_jurang_official. Which shows various kinds of religious
tolerance. This type of research uses descriptive research. Descriptive research is
research with a method to describe research results, and has the aim of providing a
description, explanation and validation regarding the phenomenon of Stand Up
Comedy shows on Tikok social media as a message of religious tolerance.
