Sexual violence in higher education environments has become a serious issue that requires effective handling. Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University has established a Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (PPKS) as an implementation of Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation No. 30 of 2021. This study aims to identify and analyze the performance of the PPKS Task Force in carrying out its duties in preventing and handling sexual violence against students at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The ongoing increase in sexual violence cases in higher education institutions is a matter of serious concern, especially with data showing 23 reported cases of sexual violence between 2022 and 2024 on campus. This research employs a quantitative approach with survey techniques, and it uses the theory of public service performance as the analytical framework. The results indicate that the PPKS Task Force has generally made good efforts in providing complaint services, conducting outreach, and offering psychological assistance and advocacy to victims. However, obstacles were found in infrastructure aspects, such as limited CCTV coverage, inadequate lighting, and unequal distribution of security personnel. In addition, outreach to the broader campus community has not been conducted optimally and comprehensively. The conclusion of this study is that the performance of the PPKS Task Force still needs improvement, particularly in terms of responsiveness, effectiveness, and fairness, in order to create a safe and violence-free campus environment.
