This study aims to describe the application of interpersonal communication of coaches in the formation of social care character of State Elementary School students in Sangiang Jaya Village, Tangerang City. This research uses descriptive method with data analysis through qualitative approach. The data collection in this study through interview techniques, observation, and documentation studies.  The results of this study indicate that the application of interpersonal communication between coaches and students has been running quite well. The coach has become a good communicator by communicating with students openly, being positive, showing empathy, upholding equality and showing support to students. The characters formed by the coach's communication in extracurricular scouting are helping, empathy, tolerance, social action, and noble character. The results show that the coach's interpersonal communication can be used in shaping students' social care character.
