These skills can be improved through the application of learning models that encourage active student participation, one of which is the Problem Based Learning model. This study aims to determine the application of the Problem Based Learning model in improving students' science process skills on buffer solution material and to determine the improvement of students' science process skills after the application of the Problem Based Learning model on buffer solution material. This research used quantitative method with One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research sample consisted of 40 students of class XI at SMAN 2 KS Cilegon who were selected using purposive sampling technique. The research instruments included teaching modules, learner worksheets (LKPD), science process skills (KPS) test questions, and observation sheets. The data obtained were analyzed using Microsoft Excel and the SPSS 23.0 program. The results showed an increase in students' science process skills after applying the Problem Based Learning model, as evidenced by the sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 in the hypothesis test.
