%X This study aims to analyze the effect of applying coconut husk liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) and various planting media compositions on the growth and yield of shallot plants (Allium ascalonicum L.). The study employed a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two treatment factors, namely the dosage of coconut husk LOF (P) consist of 4 type, control (P0), 100 ml/polybag (P1), 200 ml/polybag (P2), and 300 ml/polybag (P3) and the second factors was planting media compositions (B) with 4 compositions, (B1) topsoil : vermicompost (2 : 1), (B2) topsoil : chicken manure (2 : 1), (B3) topsoil : vermicompost : chicken manure (2 : 1 : 1), and (B4) topsoil : vermicompost : chicken manure (3:1:1) . The results showed that the application of coconut husk LOF had no significant effect on plant growth parameters, while the composition of the planting media significantly affected plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, and the yield of bulbs per clump. The planting media consisting of a combination of topsoil, kascing, and chicken manure (3:1:1) produced the best results in terms of growth and bulb yield. This study concludes that the planting media composition has a significant impact on shallot yield, while coconut husk LOF has only a minimal effect on plant growth.

%O Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC) sabut kelapa dan berbagai komposisi media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan dua faktor perlakuan yaitu dosis pupuk organik cair sabut kelapa (P) yang terdiri dari 4 jenis yaitu kontrol (P0), 100 ml/polybag (P1), 200 ml/polybag (P2), dan 300 ml/polybag (P3) dan faktor kedua yaitu komposisi media tanam (B) dengan 4 komposisi yaitu (B1) tanah lapisan atas : kompos cacing (2 : 1), (B2) tanah lapisan atas : pupuk kandang ayam (2 : 1), (B3) tanah lapisan atas : kompos cacing : pupuk kandang ayam (2 : 1 : 1), dan (B4) tanah lapisan atas : kompos cacing : pupuk kandang ayam (3:1:1). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian POC sabut kelapa tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap parameter pertumbuhan tanaman, sedangkan komposisi media tanam memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, dan hasil umbi per rumpun. Media tanam yang terdiri dari campuran tanah lapisan atas, kascing, dan pupuk kandang ayam (3:1:1) memberikan hasil terbaik dari segi pertumbuhan dan hasil umbi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah komposisi media tanam memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap hasil bawang merah, sedangkan POC sabut kelapa hanya memberikan pengaruh minimal terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman.
