The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental design employing a pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling, with class XI IPS 2 consisting of 43 students as the experimental class using Augmented Reality-based learning media. The sample selection is based on the average scores obtained from the mid-semester assessments. The results of this study are: (1) There is an increase in the indicators of creative thinking skills after using Augmented Reality-based learning media in the aspects of flexible thinking, elaborative thinking, and original thinking. (2) There is a significant difference in the improvement of students' creative thinking skills after using Augmented Reality-based learning media in history lessons for class XI. This can be seen from the Sig. 2 Tailed value of 0.000 < 0.05 and t calculated = 19.792 > t table = 1.681, thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. As a result, there was an improvement in the creative thinking skills of the students in class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Carenang after using Augmented Reality-based learning media.
