One significant factor contributing to the decline in red onion production is the lack of appropriate and effective cultivation technology. A promising solution is the enhancement of seed quality through the application of organic fertilizers, particularly Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR). This study aims to investigate the concentration and type of PGPR that influence the growth of red onion seeds. The research employed a randomized block design with two factors: PGPR concentration, which included three levels (10 ml/l (K1), 20 ml/l (K2), and 30 ml/l (K3)), and PGPR type, comprising three variants: Mimosa pudica root (P1), bamboo root (P2), and elephant grass root (P3). The results indicated that a concentration of 20 ml/l (K2) had the most favorable effect on plant height and leaf length parameters. Among the types of PGPR, bamboo root (P2) yielded the best results for plant height, leaf count, and leaf length. Furthermore, there was an interaction between PGPR concentration and type regarding plant height and leaf length parameters.
