note: Penggilingan padi merupakan pengubahan gabah menjadi beras dengan kadar air yang maksimal 13–14%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), dan Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C Ratio), serta untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha penggilingan padi pedas di Desa Bojong Pandan Kecamatan Tunjung Teja Kabupaten Serang. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, berlokasi di Desa Bojong Pandan, Kecamatan Tunjung Teja, Kabupaten Serang dengan pemilihan lokasi secara purposif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara, kuisioner, observasi, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Metode pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), dan Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Rasio B/C Bersih). Dari hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa NPV (Net Present Nilai) yang diperoleh adalah Rp 906.401.725 dengan diskon faktor yang berlaku sebesar 6%, yang berarti usaha penggilingan padi layak untuk diusahakan karena NPV yang dihasilkan lebih besar dari nol (NPV > 0). Nilai IRR (Internal Rate of Return) yang diperoleh adalah 49% dengan diskon faktor diasumsikan 6% yang berarti usaha penggilingan padi layak untuk diusahakan karena tingkat keuntungannya lebih besar dibandingkan dengan tingkat bunga yang digunakan. Nilai Net B/C Ratio yang diperoleh sebesar 2,77 yang berarti Usaha penggilingan padi layak untuk diusahakan karena Net B/C lebih besar dari 0 (Net B/C > 0).
abstract: Rice milling is the conversion of grain into rice with a maximum moisture content of 13–14%. The aim of this research is to determine the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C Ratio) achieved, as well as to determine the feasibility of a spicy rice milling business in Bojong Pandan Village. Tunjung Teja District, Serang Regency. The type of research used in this research is quantitative descriptive, located in Bojong Pandan Village, Tunjung Teja District, Serang Regency with purposive location selection. The research instruments used were interviews, questionnaires, observation, literature study and documentation. The data processing methods used are Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C Ratio). From the research results, it can be seen that the NPV (Net Present Value) obtained is IDR 906.401.725 with an applicable discount factor of 6%, which means that the rice milling business is worth pursuing because the NPV produced is greater than zero (NPV > 0). The IRR (Internal Rate of Return) value obtained is 49% with a discount factor assumed to be 6%, which means that the rice milling business is worth pursuing because the profit level is greater than the interest rate used. The Net B/C Ratio value obtained is 2,77, which means that the rice milling business is worth pursuing because the Net B/C is greater than 0 (Net B/C > 0).
