description: Oil palm is one of the loading plantation commodities both in the world and in Indonesia which has an important role in the plantation subsector to build the country's economy. Crude Palm Oil (CPO) is a derivative product of palm oil, this also makes CPO die prima donna of Indonesian exports. The purpose of this stody is to analyze the comparative and competitive advantages of Indonesian CPO compared to Malaysia in four main export destination countries, namely India, the Netherlands, Italy and Kenya using the RCA and EPD methods. The results of the RCA research show that Indonesia and Malaysia both have a comparative advantage in their respective export destination countries, as evidenced by the RCA 1 value. Furthermore, based on the EPD method, it was found that Indonesia's market position is in the position of rising stars, During the 2019-2023 period growing rapidly in the Indian and Kenyan markets, Indonesian CPO has more competitive advantages, while in the Dutch and Italian markets, Malaysian CPO is more competitive in profits.
