This framework emphasizes that students must acquire: (1) life and career skills, (2) learning and innovation skills, and (3) information, media, and technology skills. Students are expected to master the 4Cs— creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication—to compete effectively in the future. Currently, school education is oriented toward 21st- century learning, where teachers are required to implement the 4C competencies in teaching and learning activities. STEAM-based learning can serve as a solution to facilitate students in developing their 4C skills. STEAM is a learning approach designed to prepare students to face 21st-century challenges by integrating five disciplines—science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics—into the learning process. This research employs the 4D model, which consists of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The STEAM-based teaching module on Electrolysis Cells was validated by seven experts, and the validation results for both content and media were deemed valid. The content and media validity results surpassed the minimum Aiken’s Vtable in all aspects, with an average score of 0.92 for content and 0.96 for media. These results categorize the teaching module as "Valid" for use in learning activities. The STEAM-based teaching module on Electrolysis Cells was implemented in a limited trial involving 30 twelfth-grade students from SMA Negeri 2 Kota Serang.
