Therefore, technological innovation is needed technology that can simplify the process of washing large-scale vegetables and fruits automatically until the integrated drying process. automatically until the integrated drying process. The machine innovations used in this research are bubble wash, blanching machine, and vibrating machine. In general, a machine has a chance of of production failure. Therefore, the design of an appropriate way of appropriate machine care and maintenance so as to reduce the potential for failure in the operation process. One type of maintenance that can be done, namely, preventive maintenance. Preventive maintenance is a type of maintenance that is carried out on a scheduled basis with the aim of preventing the occurrence of a failure. This research uses the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methods. FMEA Analysis was conducted to identify potential failure modes and calculate the Risk Priority Number (RPN) on critical components of vegetable processing machines. The results of analysis shows that the blanching machine has the highest potential failure with an RPN value of 84, compared to the bubble wash with an RPN value of 84, compared to bubble wash with an RPN value of 38.67, and RPN value of 38.67, and vibrating machine RPN value of 72. method is then applied to determine the most effective improvement strategy based on FMEA analysis and RPN value. The recommended strategy focuses on preventive maintenance such as periodic component replacement, periodic inspections, and lubrication to prevent failure and extend the life of the machine.
