Checking the validity of data using source triangulation techniques. The approach  used is a feminist literary criticism approach in the from of reading as a woman.  The technique used is the content study technique. The data sources used are  primary data sources and secondary data sources. The research data used are  qualitative data such as word, phrases, and sentences contained in the Gadis Kretek  novel by Ratih Kumala. The data is then classified according to the data related to  feminist literary criticism. In relation to the analysis that the researcher has  conducted, the result of the study were obtained, nomely 40 data divided into 12  data on profeminist figures, 3 data on counterfeminist figures, 14 data on  stereotypes of women in the Gadis Kretek novel, and 11 data on Dasiyah’s role in  the kretek business.
