description: The number of activities in coastal areas greatly impacts the surrounding ecosystem, one of which is the mangrove ecosystem. Mangrove rehabilitation will be very useful to restore damaged areas given the important function of mangroves. The purpose of this study is to determine the survival rate, analyze growth and determine the content of sediment organic matter and its relationship to mangrove growth parameters. This research was conducted during May-August 2024 in Ujung Jaya Village. Data collection included growth measurements, sediment sampling, sediment characteristics, and water quality measurements. Mangrove survival rate was 19.4%. Growth of mangrove height, diameter, and number of leaves increased, but this growth was uneven in each plot. Factors affecting the success of this rehabilitation include temperature and salinity which are still within the normal range for mangrove growth. Sediment characteristics in the form of clay fraction and also sand and silty sand sediment fractions. The organic matter content at the five stations was obtained at 2.98% - 12.05%. - 35,2℃. The relationship between sediment and mangrove growth showed the highest correlation in the organic matter parameter with high growth, which had a correlation value of 0.9542. The correlation value of the sand fraction to the parameters of high growth, number of leaves, and survival rate showed a high negative correlation value of -0.6510 to 0.8385.
