"Rice is the main agricultural commodity in Indonesia. However, information\r\nrelated to the diversity local rice is still relatively low. This research aims to\r\ndetermine the diversity of local rice in Banten Province. Samples were collected in\r\ntwo districts of Banten Province, namely Serang and Lebak. Plants were identified\r\nbased on their morphological 10 characters. In total, 9 local rice has been\r\nidentified; Kewal Putih Rice, Kewal Hideung Rice, Ketan Cae Rice, Guling Rice,\r\nSiang Rice, Ketan Langgasari Rice, Limar Rice, Cokrom Rice, and Ketan Ruyung\r\nRice . The implementation of this research on education was done by creating an\r\nencyclopedia that can be used as a source of learning for 10\r\nth\r\n-grade students on\r\nthe concept of biodiversity.
