The data used in this research is secondary data sourced from the world bank, economist intelligence unit, and transparency international. Panel data analysis method using the FEM (Fixed Effect Model) model. Based on the results of the F statistical test (simultaneous test), it shows that in the non-economic sector the democracy index, and the corruption perception index, and in the economic sector, namely inflation, exports and economic growth, simultaneously influence foreign direct investment in ASEAN-6 countries. Then, based on the t test (partial test), it shows that the democracy index has a negative and significant effect on foreign direct investment in ASEAN-6 countries, inflation and exports have a positive and significant effect on foreign direct investment, the corruption perception index and economic growth have no effect on foreign direct investment. in ASEAN-6 countries.
