This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using count on! media in improving the understanding of the concept of number in children with moderate intellectual disabilities in SLB Negeri Tanjungpandan. The type of research method used is experimental research with a one group pre-test post-test design. The data collection techniques used are using tests and documentation. The subject criteria used in this study amounted to 3 (three) children. The resulting research results are seen from the difference in the value of the results of the pre-test phase and the post-test phase, which shows an increase in both the number concept indicator and the number symbol indicator. The results obtained with the average value in the pre-test phase were 54, while the value after the treatment or treatment by the researchers in the post-test phase increased with an average value of 78. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, Thitung = 0 was obtained, while the price of Ttabel = with a real level α = 0.05 and a sample of N = 3 obtained Ttabel = 0, then H0 was rejected because Thitung = Ttabel, meaning that the hypothesis proposed by researchers in this study can be accepted.
