High schools description: This research aims to asertain whether or not there is an influence of English on students' listening skills in text procedures at SMAN 1 Cikeusal. Pretest, treatment, and post-test are all part of the quasi-experimental research design used in this study. For this study, 60 students were selected as samples. 30 students from class X9 as the experimental class, and 30 students from class X8 as the control class, make up each class. 40 multiple-choice tests are used in data collection. Pre- and post-tests were administered to the experimental and control groups. To verify the hypothesis, the Independent Sample t-test was used to analyse the pre-test and post-test results using SPSS 27 software. The research results show that the p-output from the independent sample t test is <.001 < 0.05, the T-table for df = 58 is 2.002. The result is 4,550 > 2,002. This means that t-count > t-table then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.
