The criminal acts committed by  the perpetrator include molestation of a minor, as regulated in Article 82,  Paragraph (1) of Law No. 17 of 2016, which amends Law No. 23 of 2002 on  Child Protection, as well as the dissemination of pornographic content, as  stipulated in Article 27, Paragraph (1) of Law No. 1 of 2024, which amends Law  No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE Law). A  qualitative approach with a case study method is applied, involving in-depth  interviews with various relevant parties and an analysis of the perpetrator’s  behavioral patterns and psychological factors. The findings indicate that the main  factor influencing the perpetrator’s criminal behavior is past trauma from  interactions with their biological father, which led to psychological disturbances  and an inability to control sexual impulses. The research provides  recommendations for a more comprehensive approach to handling cases of sexual  violence against children by considering the psychological and traumatic aspects  experienced by both perpetrators and victims. Strengthening child protection  within family and community environments is also emphasized.
