This research identifies problematic  issues regarding the implementation and legal strength of special adjudication at  the Banten Province Representative Ombudsman in resolving compensation  disputes based on Law Number 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services, with the  aim of knowing the implementation and legal strength of the Banten Province  Representative Ombudsman’s special adjudication law in resolving  compensation disputes. Make a loss. The data analysis method uses an empirical  juridical approach and uses two theories, namely the theory of justice and the  theory of legal certainty. The results of this research are that special  adjudication decisions are decided by the Ombudsman, the organizers who carry  out maladministration and are obliged to provide compensation do not yet have  a mechanism related to compensation payment mechanisms because there is no  Presidential Regulation that regulates how much compensation is paid using a  special adjudication process. Special adjudication does not always have to be  related to compensation dispute cases. Because special adjudication is an  administrative dispute resolution mechanism that can be applied to various types  of public service disputes, not only in compensation cases. This process is  designed to resolve disputes between the community and public service providers  that involve maladministration. If special adjudication has not been carried out  because of the limited authority of the Ombudsman who can only provide  recommendations and cannot decide cases directly like a court and the absence  of clear regulations.
