Through a complex narrative, the film presents a  strong representation of women, particularly in the character of Bu Dina, a teacher who is not  only physically attractive but also dedicated and emotionally scarred, affecting her  interactions with men. This study aims to analyze the representation of women in the film  through John Fiske's semiotics approach, which highlights how meaning is constructed  through signs and symbols in media. The film shows how women can be leaders and  inspirations in the educational field, while also shedding light on the stereotypes they face in  society. Through qualitative analysis, this research reveals how female directors' subjectivity  can portray women more closely to real life and the challenges they face in a male-dominated  world.
