description: This study was motivated by the phenomenon of loneliness experienced by adolescents in orphanages. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the effect of art therapy drawing approach to reduce loneliness in adolescents at Hasanuddin Pandeglang orphanage. The research method used is experimental method with experimental design, namely one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were 40 adolescents, while the sampling technique used purposive sampling and obtained 10 adolescents who experienced high category loneliness. The data collection method in this study was to distribute the UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3 questionnaire. The results of the study showed an average pretest score of 50%, while the average posttest score was 31%. Through the research hypothesis test using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, it is known that the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-Tailed) is 0.005 <0.05, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. These results conclude that the art therapy drawing approach has an effect on reducing loneliness in adolescents at Hasanuddin Pandeglang orphanage.
