description: This article aims to examine issues regarding the implementation of the social granary program in dealing with disasters in Pandeglang Regency. Through the social granary   program, it provides social security for communities whose areas are affected by disasters. The research method used in this writing is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, in this method this research will later reveal the results of data in   the field. This type of qualitative descriptive research also describes conditions as they are without data manipulation. The theory used in this research uses an analytical knife  in the form of Implementation theory from Van Mater and Van Horn, with indicators (1) Standards, Policy Goals and Targets, (2) Resources, (3) Characteristics of the Implementing Organization, (4) Communication between Organizations Regarding Implementing Activities, (5) Attitude Implementers, (6) Social, Economic and Political Conditions as well as using Disaster Theory from several experts, one of which is  Pudjiono. The results of his research showed that of the thirteen social granaries, seven sub-districts of Cibitung, Panimbang, Cikeusik, Patia, Cigeulis, Jiput, Angsana were recorded as not having implemented a social granary program. The obstacle is that it   relies on the lack of communication established by the sub-district authorities with the district government and related agencies, namely the Social Service. In this way, no social granary post was formed and no human resources were formed as administrators of the Disaster Preparedness Village (KSB). Apart from this, there are six sub-districts, namely Mandalawangi, Carita, Labuan, Sumur, Pagelaran, Sukaresmi sub-districts which have succeeded in having command posts, the KSB management structure has even implemented the social granary program even though there are positive and negative notes in its allocation.
