Selain memiliki prospek yang baik, lobster air tawar juga dapat bertahan hidup di air keruh. Pembudidaya lobster air tawar terus-menerus menghadapi kelangsungan hidup yang rendah, terutama selama stadia benih. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini akan menggunakan substrat dasar yang sesuai untuk mempelajari karakteristik substrat dasar yang cocok untuk pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih lobster air tawar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan empat perlakuan dan tiga replikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan berbagai jenis substrat tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat kelangsungan hidup, pertumbuhan panjang absolut, pertumbuhan berat absolut, dan laju pertumbuhan harian benih lobster. Tanah Akadama dan pasir merah yang malang merupakan substrat dasar yang baik untuk tingkat kelangsungan hidup benih lobster air tawar dalam penelitian ini. Tingkat kelangsungan hidup mencapai 86,67% pada perlakuan tanah Akadama dan 80% pada perlakuan pasir malang merah, sehingga perlakuan B, C dan D memiliki nilai yang sama jika dibandingkan dengan perlakuan A (kontrol). Namun, itu memiliki efek alami pada tingkat kelangsungan hidup, berat absolut, dan panjang absolut. Substrat tanah Akadama memberikan hasil pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup terbaik dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lain, dengan penurunan berat badan 2,5 g ± 0,20, perolehan panjang 1,83 cm ± 0,15, dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup 86,67% ± 0,58. abstract: Freshwater lobsters have promising prospects because they are not easily stressed and sick. In addition to having good prospects, freshwater lobsters can survive in murky water. Freshwater lobster cultivators constantly face low survival, especially during seed stadia. Therefore, this study will use essential substrates to study the characteristics of crucial substrates suitable for the growth and survival of freshwater lobster seeds. This research was conducted at the Aquaculture Laboratory, Fisheries Science Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. This research was conducted in March-April 2024. This study uses an experimental method with four treatments and three replications. The results showed that using different types of substrates did not significantly affect the survival rate, absolute length growth, absolute weight growth, and daily growth rate of lobster seeds. In this study, Akadama soil and unfortunate red sand are good basic substrates for the survival rate of freshwater lobster seeds. The survival rate reached 86.67% in the Akadama soil treatment and 80% in the red unfortunate sand treatment, so treatments B, C and D had the same value as treatment A (control). However, it naturally affects survival rate, weight, and length.
