description: The increasing population and community activities affect the increasing volume of waste in Serang City. Waste management is a systematic, comprehensive and sustainable activity that includes reducing and handling waste. Based on observations made by researchers, waste management in Serang City has not been optimized. Therefore, this study aims to determine and analyze and provide alternative strategies for the Environmental Service in Waste Management in Serang City. The theory used is the SWOT Analysis Theory by Freddy Rangkuti (2021: 19), namely Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threats. The method used in this research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The results of the study based on the calculation of the IFAS and EFAS matrix show that strengths and opportunities are greater than weaknesses and threats with a total score of internal factors at (0.45) and a total of external factors at (0.43) so that this strategy takes an aggressive strategy (growth) in the context of a waste management strategy.   Suggestions that become recommendations for waste management strategies in the city of Serang are maximizing government support and strengthening the involvement of environmental activists and the community, utilizing support for strong cooperation for external parties and utilizing technology for waste processing, optimizing and strengthening supporting facilities for waste reduction in the community to increase waste innovation, educating public awareness through community-based waste management.
