description: Indonesian agriculture is experiencing problems. Not only from shrinking land, decreasing land quality and a flood of imported products, but also decreasing human resources. The decline in the number of workers in the agricultural sector includes the younger generation. The decline in the number of young farmers is due to the waning desire of rural youth to work in the agricultural sector, and they are more likely to choose work in the non-agricultural sector, both in the village areas where they live and in urban areas. This research aims to determine the perceptions and factors that influence young people to work in the agricultural sector in Bojongmanik Village, Sindangresmi District. This type of research uses descriptive with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data analysis method uses Spearman Rank analysis. The number of samples taken was 88 respondents. The research results show that young people's perceptions of work in the agricultural sector in Bojongmanik Village are in the strongly agree category with a score range of 76-98 with a percentage of 63% with indicators consisting of Job Comfort, income, business risk and motivation. And the factors that influence young people's perceptions of working in the agricultural sector in Bojongmanik Village are external factors with indicators consisting of land ownership, parental influence and friend influence. The test results are classified in the high category with a score range of 56-85 with a percentage of 100%.
