description: This study aimed to examine the relationship between family and peer environments and the sociology learning motivation of grade XI Social Studies students at SMAN 1 Ciruas. A quantitative approach was employed using a correlational method. The population consisted of all grade XI Social Studies students at SMAN 1 Ciruas, totaling 242 students, with a sample of 71 students selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire that measured the variables of family environment (X1), peer environment (X2), and learning motivation (Y). The prerequisite tests included normality, linearity, and multicollinearity tests. Data analysis was conducted using multivariate (multiple) correlation tests to determine the relationship between family and peer environments and learning motivation.  Based on the analysis results presented in the correlation table, the significance value was <0.000 < α (0.05) with a significance level of 0.05, which indicated that H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. The strength of the relationship between the variables of family and peer environments and learning motivation was 0.698, indicating a strong relationship. It was therefore concluded that there was a positive and significant relationship between family and peer environments and the sociology learning motivation of grade XI Social Studies students at SMAN 1 Ciruas.  This study obtained a coefficient of determination (r²) of 0.488, indicating that family and peer environments jointly contributed 48.8% to the variance in students' learning motivation, while the remaining 51.2% was influenced by other factors not analyzed in this study.
