This principle is an important foundation in a just world of work, where every individual is entitled to fair and equal treatment. This includes giving political rights in general elections. Political rights are also part of human rights that must be respected and protected by all parties. So, employers and the government must provide equal opportunities for workers to be able to channel their voting rights in general elections even though workers still come to work on election holidays. Based on this background, it is necessary to study how is the application of legal protection for workers in providing political rights in the 2024 simultaneous general election at Hypermart Mall Of Serang? and what efforts can be made in providing legal protection for labor in general elections? The theory used in this research is the theory of Human Rights (HAM) and the theory of legal protection. The method used is empirical method, with descriptive research specifications and using the approach of legislation and legal sociology, the data source is primary data and secondary data, the data collection technique used is field studies (interviews), the data analysis uses descriptive analytics, and the research location is Hypermart Mall Of Serang and the General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Serang City. The results of this study show that everyone has the right to work, get compensation, and fair treatment in labor relations, as the basic rights of workers have been protected by law. Hypermart Mall Of Serang has fulfilled the political rights of its workforce, but the lack of workforce participation in elections makes workers need to get more protection in economic protection, social protection, and technical protection from both the company and the government.
