Based on the issues identified by the researcher, such as  suboptimal partnership cooperation, lack of potential exploration in villages for  determining the types of BUMDes businesses in Serang Regency, and the absence  of comprehensive BUMDes classification data to determine the appropriate  strategic direction, this study aims to analyze the development strategy of BUMDes  in Serang Regency using the SWOT analysis theory (Hunger & Wheelen, 2003) to  formulate strategies that can be adopted by the Serang Regency Government. This  research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were  collected through in-depth interviews with local government officials, BUMDes  managers, community members, and other relevant stakeholders, as well as  document analysis and field observations. The findings indicate that BUMDes  development faces significant challenges, such as limited human and natural  resources, lack of training, low community participation, and suboptimal  partnerships. However, BUMDes also have opportunities through local potential  management, digitalization, and technology-based marketing. The recommended  strategies include a participatory approach, human resource strengthening,  technology optimization, and partnership collaboration. This research provides  strategic guidance that can be adapted to address similar challenges in other  regions, contributing to the strengthening of BUMDes as a driving force for the  village economy.
