This approach aims to address complex issues in watershed management, such as environmental degradation, conflicts of interest, and the imbalance between conservation and the utilization of water resources. The objective of this research is to analyze the implementation of the collaborative governance concept in the management of the Cidanau Watershed to achieve sustainable water resource management. The background of this study stems from the complexity of watershed management, which involves multiple stakeholders, such as the government, community, private sector, and nongovernmental organizations, each often having different interests and agendas. Additionally, environmental issues in the Cidanau Watershed, such as water resource degradation, encroachment on the Rawa Danau Nature Reserve, and high poverty levels, demand an effective coordination and collaboration mechanism to address environmental challenges and improve the quality of life of communities around the watershed. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study of the Cidanau Watershed. Data were collected through indepth interviews with stakeholders, field observations, and analysis of policy documents related to watershed management. The validity of the data was verified using triangulation techniques and member checking. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of collaborative governance in the Cidanau Watershed has enhanced inter-agency coordination and active community participation in planning and decision-making. This approach has proven effective in reducing conflicts among stakeholders and fostering synergy in conservation and water resource management programs. However, this study also reveals challenges such as regulatory inconsistencies and differences in stakeholder perceptions that still need to be addressed. The study concludes that the implementation of collaborative governance is an effective strategy to optimize the sustainable management of the Cidanau Watershed. Therefore, it is recommended that relevant stakeholders enhance communication, coordination, and policy alignment to create stronger synergy in water resource management efforts. The findings of this research are expected to contribute to the development of an adaptive and participatory watershed management model at both local and national levels date: 2024 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/47337/3/Liani%20Wulandari_6661180109_02.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/47337/4/Liani%20Wulandari_6661180109_03.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/47337/5/Liani%20Wulandari_6661180109_04.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/47337/6/Liani%20Wulandari_6661180109_05.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/47337/7/Liani%20Wulandari_6661180109_Ref.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/47337/8/Liani%20Wulandari_6661180109_Lamp.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/47337/21/Liani%20Wulandari_%20%286661180109%29_01.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/47337/22/Liani%20Wulandari_%20%286661180109%29_full%20text.pdf identifier: Wulandari, Liani (2024) Collaborative Governance dalam Pengelolaan Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Cidanau Provinsi Banten.
