description: The problem raised in this research concerns the livelihood strategies of city transport drivers in Serang during the COVID-19 pandemic. The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia caused city transport drivers in Serang to experience a decrease in the number of passengers and almost no income to meet the economic needs of their families and the city transport vehicles themselves, so they almost went out of business.  In researching existing problems, researchers used qualitative research with descriptive methods. Aims to describe the phenomena that occur. Data collection techniques were carried out using field observations, in-depth interviews with informants and documentation.  The results of the research that has been carried out show that strategy is a good way to use to improve the family economy in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, especially for city transport drivers in Serang during the COVID-19 pandemic, some of whom use sustainable rural livelihood strategies using intensification/extensification, diversification and migration.
