This is done because children are influenced by\r\nfriends in the environment where they come from, and children are given\r\nsanctions in the form of criminal decisions. The identification of the problem in\r\nthis study is how the judge's consideration in imposing punishment on children\r\nwho are counterfeit money dealers in Decision Number: 2/PID.SUSANAK/2022/PN RKB and how the conditional supervision punishment for\r\nchildren who are counterfeit currency dealers in the perspective of criminal law\r\nreform. The theories used in this research are Ratio Decidendi Theory and\r\nCriminal Law Reform Theory. The method used in this research is normative\r\njuridical method. The research specification used is a qualitative research type\r\nwith a statutory approach. The data sources used are secondary data sources which\r\nare further divided into several parts, namely primary, secondary, and tertiary\r\nlegal materials with data collection techniques using library research. The results\r\nof the findings that researchers can get are the consideration of judges in imposing\r\npunishment on children in decision Number: 2/PID.SUS.ANAK/2022/PN RKB is\r\nstill not appropriate, because the decision does not provide a sense of justice for\r\nchildren. There is a consideration of the recommendation of the Correctional\r\nCenter that the child be sentenced to conditional punishment with supervision. In\r\nhis consideration, the Judge did not agree because he considered the actions\r\ncommitted by the child, namely the crime of imitating or counterfeiting currency.\r\nThis consideration is not appropriate, because the child only circulates counterfeit\r\nmoney and the child is influenced by adults. Conclusion, that the judge's\r\nconsideration does not consider non-juridical aspects such as the condition of the\r\nchild and the child's economic condition and in the imposition of child\r\npunishment can be seen from the perspective of criminal law reform, namely\r\nthrough the application stage and the execution stage that there are other\r\nalternatives in imposing sanctions on children other than imprisonment. The\r\nresearchers suggest that the judge should pay attention to non-juridical elements\r\nand pay attention to the child's psychological condition and the environment\r\nwhere the child comes from, so that the judge can provide sanctions that prioritize\r\nthe best needs of the child."^^<http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#string> .
