description: The design of production capacity is an essential process for a company planning  to build its production facility. This process aims to optimize the utilization of available resources to achieve the desired production targets. This study focuses on designing the production capacity for frozen vegetable processing through the development of a mathematical model. The mathematical model developed is a linear programming (LP) model with the objective function of minimizing lost sales and operational costs. The proposed linear programming model serves as a reference for decision-making at the operational level. The results obtained through data processing using Lingo Solver 20.0 and Microsoft Excel indicate that the solution provided by the developed model amounts to IDR 5,852,000 for lost sales   and IDR 72,555,786 for the total operational costs required.
