description: This study examines the contribution of the Women Farmers Group (Kelompok   Wanita Tani, KWT) to improving household economies in Grogol District, Cilegon   City. Through participation in various KWT activities, members generate additional   income, with an average monthly earnings of IDR 2,896,000. This income helps to   ease the economic burden on households, especially for those with limited sources   of revenue. Furthermore, KWT promotes sustainable agricultural practices among   its members; approximately 82.08% of members apply eco-friendly techniques,   such as organic fertilizers and efficient water management, which not only increase   productivity but also lower production costs. KWT members contribute about 32%   of the total household income, reflecting the significant role they play in family   economies. Beyond financial benefits, KWT provides empowerment opportunities,   enabling women to develop entrepreneurial skills, expand social networks, and   actively engage in community and household economic activities. The findings   highlight the crucial role of KWT in supporting family welfare and strengthening   women’s economic independence through sustainable agriculture.
