note: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang pemberdayaan perempuan melalui kegiatan eco-crafting dalam meningkatkan kreativitas ibu rumah tangga di Yayasan Bina Wanita Bahagia Kota Serang. Pemberdayaan ini dilakukan untuk memberikan pengetahuan keterampilan dan pengalaman dalam bidang seni kreativitas kepada ibu-ibu rumah tangga melalui pemanfaatan sampah plastik untuk menciptakan barang-barang kerajinan yang bernilai estetika, bermanfaat dan ramah lingkungan. Pendekatan dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) kegiatan eco-crafting ini menggunakan beberapa tahapan yaitu Awareness (Penyadaran), Understanding (Pemahaman), Harnessing (Memanfaatkan), dan Using (Menggunakan). Selanjutnya setelah melalui tahapan pemberdayaan tersebut, (2) adapun dampak dari kegiatan eco-crafting ini yaitu memberikan dampak yang positif seperti dapat menambahkan pengetahuan ibu-ibu rumah tangga dalam membuat barang berbahan dasar plastik yang tentunya dapat meningkatkan kreativitas ibu-ibu rumah tangga tersebut.
abstract: This study aims to examine women's empowerment through eco-crafting activities in improving the creativity of housewives at the Yayasan Bina Wanita Bahagia Serang City. This empowerment is carried out to provide knowledge, skills and experience in the field of creative arts to housewives through the use of plastic waste to create aesthetic, useful and environmentally friendly craft items. The approach and method used in this study are qualitative approaches and descriptive methods, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that (1) this eco-crafting activity uses several stages, namely Awareness, Understanding, Harnessing, and Used. Furthermore, after going through the empowerment stages, (2) the impact of this eco-crafting activity is that it provides a positive impact such as being able to add knowledge to housewives in making plastic-based goods which of course can increase the creativity of these housewives.
