The researcher used qualitative methods and a case study design. The researcher used a systematic sampling to select a representative sample from a larger population (Yan & Bava Harji, 2023). In collecting data, the researcher used observation, documentation and structured interviews that were open-ended. The Interview was held with 20 participants from 8th grade students, and There were 20 questions which consisted of the students’ language learning experiences, linguistic challenges and strategies, language proficiency and content engagement, speaking proficiency and task specificity, progress assessment and speaking skills, emotional responses to speaking, motivation and topic relevance, feedback and future participation, anxiety and mental preparation, and cultural and experiential influence. The data was analyzed using (Miles & Huberman, 2014) techniques. The result of this study is the process of SCBI in the classroom showed a progressive improvement in student engagement, confidence, and language use over time. Initial observations indicated challenges such as a reliance on the mother tongue and varying levels of comfort in using English.
