description: Instagram social media is considered the right solution for Prokopim Pemkab  Pandeglang in an effort to disseminate information about leadership activities  and various aspects related to government to the public widely and transparently.  The goal to be achieved is to find out how the elements of fact finding, planning,  communication and evaluation are applied and what are the ways to optimize  social media. The type of approach that is the method in the research conducted is  qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques from direct analysis results,  questions and answers, documentation and questionnaires. The sample was  obtained by finding key informants, namely three (3) key informants, then  analyzed using the Miles and Huberman Model data. Prokopim Pemkab  Pandeglang has implemented elements of fact finding, planning, communication  and evaluation in managing social media @pemkab.pandeglang. However,  improvements are still needed in optimizing human resources and communication  strategies so that messages can be conveyed effectively and reach the entire  Pandeglang community. One strategy in this case is that academics have a role in  helping to publish Prokopim activities and evaluate Prokopim activities. Of  course, the main obstacle faced by Prokopim Pemkab Pandeglang in optimizing  social media is the limited human resources (HR) which are inadequate and the  ineffectiveness of delivering messages to the public, so it is closely related to the  research conducted by the author. It is hoped that Prokopim Pemkab Pandeglang  needs to increase and improve HR competency in the field of social media  management including training related to digital communication strategies.
