description: This research focuses on collaborative governance of mangrove rehabilitation in  Cigorondong Village, Sumur District, Pandeglang Regency. The problem studied  by the researcher is that the Indonesian government has launched a national  mangrove rehabilitation initiative of 600,000 hectares, in accordance with the  2020-2024 RPJMN through low carbon development. Banten Province is one of  the provinces in Indonesia that has experienced environmental degradation, so  that the existing mangrove ecosystem area is not comparable to the potential  mangrove habitat that should be. The government, communities, and businesses  have adopted various initiatives and programs in the form of rehabilitation  projects aimed at rebuilding damaged mangrove forests and establishing  mangrove centers. The theory used in this research is the indicators of initial  conditions, institutional design, facilitative leadership, and collaborative  processes in Ansell and Gash's collaborative governance model (2007), where the  actors involved are government, private sector, academics and non-governmental  organizations. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative  approach. The data collection techniques used are analyzing the results,  interviews, observations, documentation, literature studies and data analysis  techniques using techniques according to Miles and Huberman (1984). The  results showed that the collaboration that occurred was good but not optimally  implemented because there were problems related to research indicators, such as  the absence of a special communication forum and supporting regional  regulations related to mangrove management in Banten Province.
