In general, the formulation of this research problem is ‘How is the development of android-based local wisdom-oriented Indonesian teaching materials as an implementation of the Merdeka curriculum for public junior high schools in Tangerang City?’. The aim is to produce teaching materials for the Indonesian language oriented towards android-based local wisdom as an implementation of an independent curriculum that is valid, practical, and effective for seventh-grade students of public junior high schools in Tangerang City, especially in text-based Indonesian language learning. This research and development procedure used the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and tests. The subjects of this research were Indonesian language teachers and seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 7 Tangerang City. In addition to teachers and students, this research also involved four expert lecturers as validators. Data analysis techniques were carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. In general, the results of this study are in the form of an android-based local wisdom-oriented Indonesian teaching material development product in the form of a learning application called ALINEA for the semester I grade VII SMP.
